TBEF is a parent-funded, parent-managed, non-profit education fund established for the purpose of enhancing the hands-on education and curriculum of our children.  Our goal is to enable Tierra Bonita teachers to raise the standards in the classroom above the basic district requirements by providing interactive technology and key programs that both engage and challenge every student.

It is not the intent of the foundation to simply fill gaps due to a lack of district funding or the latest budget cuts. The primary objective is to identify academic holes and improve the academic experience overall by providing stimulating and relevant tools. The focus has and continues to be on curriculum that Tierra Bonita parents, teachers, and the parent run board of directors feel is missing or falling below expectations.

Ultimately it is the wish of TBEF to be an enabler that identifies, funds and helps integrate the identified tools and programs necessary to help the Tierra Bonita staff optimize our childrenís education. Therefore, the focus of TBEF will and should change as our school and childrenís needs evolve.
