TBEF provides 3 one hour science labs for every class room. The labs are hand chosen to supplement the science curriculum for each grade level.

Why?	Hands-on labs can make science fun and interesting in the primary grades, stimulating interest that can last a lifetime.
Why Mad Science?	Mad Science was given a trial based on the experience of other PUSD schools, and has proven itself with 2 years of enthusiastic support from our teachers and students.
How can I sponsor a lab?	Your sponsorship will cover the entire cost of the lab and the materials fee:      Grades K-3 (about 20 students): $155      Grades 4 -5 (about 35 students): $170 Please contact us to let us know if you want to become a sponsor today.

In addition to the Mad Science program, TBEF is currently investigating additional labs for upper grades that can raise the bar once again on the current science program at Tierra Bonita. Please send any thoughts, leads or opinions you may have with respect to science for our students.
